Along with our affiliation with CGI Racing and who is a big supporter of our club. CGI Racing is also offering a $5 discount on your NJ State Triathlon and Rutgers Half Marathon & 8K race entries. Both of these races are part of the CJTC Series Challenge for 2013.

Rutgers Half Team Up Challenge Details
For the Rutgers Half enter the club name as “We Dream Team/CJTC” to enter the challenge as we are using it as a fund raiser for the We Dream Team charity. The team with the most entries will win $500.

NJ State Triathlon Team Up Challenge Details
For the NJ State Triathlon enter our club name alone as “Central Jersey Tri Club” to enter the challenge. Also with NJ State we will receive 1 free race entry for every 10 participants and if you register before December 1st, 2012 you will be entered to win 125 $80 race entries for the club. The difference to be returned as a refund if you already registered for the race.

Have a safe and healthy Turkey Day!

From the CJTC Board, have a safe and healthy Thanksgiving. Instead of loafing on the couch and watching football and the Turkey Day parade all day try some of these fun, fit and healthy alternatives.

1. Get outside with your loved ones and go for a walk at a nearby park.

2. Step outside with the kids and play some touch football.

3. Do a “Turkey Run” or “Walk”

Reminder : End Of Season Party – Is Still On!

Dear CJTC Members,

It has been a difficult week for many of us and we hope that things are returning to normal for each of you. Hurricane Sandy has impacted each of us in some way which makes dealing with these challenges just one more thing to handle amongst all the other challenges.

However, with dealing with these challenges, we need to take time for ourselves and breath. With that we are just re-iterating that the CJTC End Of Season Party on Wednesday, November 14th @ 7:30pm at The Chimney Rock Inn will still be taking place as scheduled.

Please come out, take a break from the madness, have a drink if you like and have a fun eventful time with your fellow club members. We will be reviewing this years accomplishments, introducing some new board members and handing out some free gifts and prizes.

If you haven’t RSVP’d to the Evite sent out please do that so we can have an accurate head count for the event. Or if you can’t located the Evite you may also RSVP to the club Gmail address.

ING New York City Marathon has been CANCELLED!

Unfortunately, due to the emergency situation taking place in the region and New York City at the moment, the ING New York City Marathon has been cancelled to focus efforts on the recovery from Hurricane Sandy.
