Congratulations to our new and repeat Ironman finishers that competed in the Lake Placid Ironman on July 28th.  What an amazing  accomplishment and weekend it was for everyone.

We must not forget our Ironman Friends and Family who supported all the athletes who compete in these events. They all work very hard to cook meals, transport us to and from the race, cheers us on and wait around for hours on end for us to finish. Thank you to everyone who supports us. You all deserve a Ironman Support Crew medal!

Well, it looks like this summer scorcher is going to last through at least the Saturday Sprint at the New Jersey State Triathlon. Make sure you start pre-loading your hydration days before the event and maintain it all the way through your race.

NJ State Triathlon : One more week!

You have made the commitment.. You have put in the time.. You have completed endless laps in the pool. You have sweat in the heat, humidity and baking sun while on the bike and on the runs. The question to ask now is.. Are you ready?

Only seven more days until our biggest club event of the year, The New Jersey State Sprint and Olympic Triathlon.

Join us at our club tent on Saturday July 20th and Sunday July 21st to help cheer on our fellow club members as they race in this great event. Don’t forget to wear your club t-shirts as we are having a club photo at 7:20am at the swim start each morning.

Event: Cream Ridge Winery : Bike and Wine Tasting
Date: Saturday, August 10th, 2013
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm

Central Jersey Tri Club members, don’t miss this event! Bagels, coffee and snacks in the morning. Cue sheets for group runs and bike rides of various distances for all members. Bike corral to practice your transitions and store your bikes and other equipment. As well as in the afternoon, there will be a free wine tasting and live music to enjoy the surrounding countryside and scenery.

This is a great event provided by our friends at the Cream Ridge Winery so come on out and have a great time with your fellow club members.  Each club member can invite one friend or family member as well.  Please RSVP to centraljerseytriclub@gmail.com.
