I would like to thank everyone who came to the ReserveAid fundraiser last night and to those who donated auction and raffle items. I personally had a great time and we raised a lot of money that will go directly towards helping our troops in need.

Whether you were able to make it or not, Jess and I could certainly use the support as we try to tackle the August heat in our attempt to finish our 140.6 mile journey at Ironman NYC next month. If you’d like to financially support ReserveAid as we “Tri for out troops” please go here to learn more and to make a Donation To ReserveAid.

Finally, Team ReserveAid’s flagship event for 2013 will be Ironman Lake Placid. Sign up for the race will be on July 23rd. This race is expected to sell out within minutes, so please reach out to me if you have any questions about the race or how to beat the cut-off window on registration day. Whether you’ve done long races in the past or simply have it on your bucket list to do an Ironman, I will say that ‘Anyone’ can complete and Ironman, but you certainly have to ‘want’ to do the work to get there. A year is plenty of time to prepare.

Cheers,

-John
